SPLM SG DR. KORDIT CALLS FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION AT INTER-PARTY DIALOGUE

SPLM Secretary General Dr. Akol Paul Kordit calls on party cadres to hold productive meetings to discuss the inter-party dialogue on election matters, as Chairman and President Salva Kiir opened the talks on September 24 under the theme “Towards Peaceful, Inclusive, Transparent and Credible Elections.” Dr. Akol, who serves as the SPLM’s Secretary General and also as Deputy Co-Chair of the Multi-Party Steering Committee overseeing the dialogue, has been at the center of the ruling party’s preparations for the December 2026 elections. In statement to South Sudan broadcasting corporation the SPLM Secretary of political affairs and mobilisation ambassador John Adruga Duke reaffirmed the SPLM’s commitment on the inter-party dialogue with other parties to lead the country to elections.
