The National Constitutional Review Commission has concluded a two-day consultative programme with the national government institutions as part of its nationwide civic education and public consultations on constitutional issues, bringing together stakeholders to discuss key constitutional matters relating to national government institutions. The consultations are part of the Commission’s broader nationwide process aimed at gathering views from citizens and institutions to inform the review of the country’s Constitution. Chairperson of the National Constitutional Review Commission, Dr. Riang Yer Zuor, says the views gathered through the consultations will contribute to the preparation of the draft constitutional document. The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Martin Elia Lomuro, stresses the importance of the process in delinking some of the provisions in the Revitalized Peace Agreement
