The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in partnership with the International Organization for Migration, IOM, has concluded a three-day programme on the National Diaspora Policy, focusing on strengthening government engagement with South Sudanese communities abroad and harnessing their skills, expertise and investments for national development. Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Akuei Bona Malual thanked participants and partners, calling for stronger collaboration to maximize the diaspora’s contribution to South Sudan’s development. The policy will provide a framework for coordinated and meaningful diaspora engagement.
