The SPLM Women’s League has continued deliberations on the review and drafting of its constitution during the second day of the conference. The conference, which brings together women delegates from across the party, is reviewing key provisions of the league’s constitution and discussing its strategy to guide the work of the SPLM Women’s League. The SPLM Chairman, President Salva Kiir Mayardit, opened the conference on Tuesday. SPLM Secretary General Dr. Akol Paul Kordit, says deliberations are expected to pave the way for the finalization of key documents that will guide the work and activities of the SPLM Women’s League. The SPLM Secretary for Research and Training, Dr. John Oryem, outlined the key areas of discussion during the conference, including the women’s constitution and the league’s group strategy.
