Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) and the South Sudan Revenue Authority (SSRA) on Wednesday met with managing directors of commercial banks to discuss the implementation of directives on the suspension and withdrawal of standing orders.The meeting brought together commercial banks contracted by the South Sudan Revenue Authority for tax collection to deliberate on key issues, including their collective role in ensuring efficient and effective revenue management. Bank of South Sudan Governor Hon. Dr. Addis Ababa Othow called for greater collaboration and transparency among the institutions, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts in implementing the directives.Dr. Othow reaffirmed the central bank’s commitment to working with the Revenue Authority and commercial banks to ensure that the directives are effectively implemented and that revenue management processes remain transparent and efficient.
