South Sudan, Kenya Sign Pact to Boost Trade and Security

South Sudan and Kenya have signed a joint communiqué aimed at removing trade barriers, strengthening border security, and improving road connectivity along the Nadapal-Juba Corridor.The agreement seeks to strengthen bilateral cooperation and facilitate the movement of goods and people. South Sudan’s Minister of EAC Affairs Pieng Deng Kuol reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing border and trade challenges, while Kenya’s EAC Affairs Cabinet Secretary Beatrice Askul Moe said an improved corridor will boost trade and regional integration.
