The Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Cecilia Adut Manyok, has engaged in diplomatic engagements with the Norwegian Ambassador to South Sudan Roar Haugsdal on election preparedness, peace process and bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, the Norwegian envoy reaffirmed his country’s longstanding friendship with South Sudan and invited the minister to attend the Nordic-Africa Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Oslo in November. Ambassador Adut welcomed Norway’s continued support towards credible, free and fair elections and a smooth conclusion of the transitional period.
