POCHALLA COMMUNITY APPEALS FOR MODERN HEALTH FACILITY & IMPROVED MEDICAL SERVICES

The community of Pochalla in Pibor Administrative Area is appealing to the government and humanitarian partners operating in South Sudan to improve healthcare services and construct a modern health facility in the county. The community made the peal while meeting Vice President for the Economic Cluster, Dr James Wani Igga, who has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the people of Pochalla and addressing their concerns. The Chairperson of the Pibor Caucus in the National Parliament, Nyigwo Badok, says residents of Pochalla are facing serious challenges in accessing healthcare services as the community is being geographically isolated and faces difficulties accessing medical treatment in Juba and Pibor.   The community is now calling for greater government and humanitarian support to improve access to essential healthcare services in Pochalla.
