JUBA AND MOSCOW CONTINUE TO SEEK DEEPER BILATERAL RELATIONS

Juba and Moscow have continued to deepen their bilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest between South Sudan and Russia, following a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. James Pitia Morgan, and the  Ambassador of the Russian Federation to South Sudan, Alexandra Kosmodemyansky, who conveys a congratulatory message from Russian President Vladimir Putin to President Salva Kiir Mayardit on the occasion of his belated  birthday.  The meeting also discusses ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between South Sudan and Russia, preparations for the upcoming polling station at the Russian Embassy in Juba for Russia’s State Duma elections, and the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries.
