The speaker of council of the states, Daniel Akot Akot engages in discussions with speakers of central Equatoria, Jonglei, Eastern Equatoria, Western Equatoria and Warrap state legislative assemblies on confronting challenges hampering grassroots development. The chairperson of parliamentary decentralization committee, Richard Wamoi says that the meeting listened to reports on challenges facing the five states and he reassures the councilsโ cooperation with the states assemblies.ย Representing the speakers, Eastern Equatoria Speaker Charles Udwar says the meeting addressed obstacles in road connectivity across the country.
