<p>The South Sudan Revenue Authority, SSRA, has reiterated that all imported goods entering the country must be accompanied by an E-Permit Certificate as part of efforts to enhance efficiency, transparency, and revenue collection.</p><p><br></p><p>In a public notice issued on Monday, the Authority stated that the E-Permit Certificate is issued free of charge and remains a legal requirement for all imports into the Republic of South Sudan.</p><p><br></p><p>The SSRA emphasized that importers, exporters, and customs agents must provide accurate declarations on the destination and value of goods to ensure fair taxation and prevent under-declaration.</p><p><br></p><p>The Authority also warned against cargo diversion, document manipulation, and misinformation by some Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents, saying such practices undermine revenue collection and may lead to penalties or seizure of goods.</p><p><br></p><p>The SSRA further urged stakeholders to comply fully with importation procedures and seek official guidance directly from the Authority to avoid misinformation.</p><p><br></p><p>The notice was issued by the Office of the Commissioner General of the South Sudan Revenue Authority.</p>
