The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Albino Akol Atak, has engaged with a delegation from the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue led by Programme Manager, Mesganaw Mulugeta to discuss humanitarian assistance and the organization's contribution to peacebuilding efforts in South Sudan. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration to improve humanitarian service delivery while addressing the country's growing humanitarian challenges.
Minister Albino Akol Atak outlined the ministry's priorities, including building community resilience to help vulnerable populations withstand recurring crises, promoting durable solutions for displaced communities, and expanding livelihood support through the provision of productive tools and cash assistance programmes for internally displaced persons.
