The National Communication Authority has concluded its first inter-school competition aimed at raising awareness about electronic waste, marking International E-Waste Day on October 14.
Speaking at the closing ceremony at the NCA headquarters in Gumbo, Director of Corporate Affairs, Dada Isaac Lemi, has urged students to become ambassadors of e-waste awareness in their schools and communities to reduce health and environmental risks. St. Lawrence Academy emerged as the winner, followed by Bornwell Academy in second place and Juba Day Secondary School in third.
