The caretaker Trade and Industry Minister, Dr. Labanya Margret Mathya, has called for collective responsibility and stronger coordination among government institutions to help stabilise the national economy. Welcoming the caretaker Minister, Undersecretary of Trade, Ustaz Yel Luol Koor, echoes Dr. Labanya’s call for cooperation as essential to implementing the new directives and guidance of the President. The caretaker minister also expressed appreciation to the President for entrusting her with leadership of the ministry for a second time. The Ministry of Trade and Industry plays a key role in promoting trade, supporting businesses and creating an enabling environment for economic growth as the country navigates the election period.
