Petroleum Committee Reviews Ministry’s Budget

The Petroleum Committee of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly received a report on the budget allocated to the Ministry of Petroleum from a delegation led by the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Dr. Santino Ayuel Longar. During the hearing, the Committee Chairperson, Butros Alison Manani Makaya, commended the Ministry of Petroleum’s technical team for their work in the country's oil sector, affirming the Committee's commitment to fostering national development through petroleum resources. Furthermore, Dr. Santino Ayuel Longar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum, outlined the challenges facing the Ministry particularly regarding field operations and urged the committee to join forces in support of the Ministry’s development plan.
