Vice-President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol has chaired a Service Cluster meeting that approved two policy memoranda for presentation to the Council of Ministers. The Cluster approved the National Child Labour Policy, presented by Labour Minister Anthony Lino Makana, aimed at strengthening the protection of children from exploitation. The Cluster also has approved four education policies covering teacher education, female teacher affirmative action, school inspection and pre-primary education. Vice President Abdelbagi welcomed the proposals, stressing the need to strengthen child protection and reform the education sector to improve service delivery.
