Vice-President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol has engaged in talks with Egyptian Ambassador to South Sudan, Hazem Mamdouh Fawzy, on deepening bilateral relations in the areas of mutual interest. In a media statement, Diplomat Fawzysays their meeting strengthened cooperation between the two countries and preparations for a planned high-level South Sudanese delegation to Egypt, regarding the worsening situation of South Sudanese citizens stranded in Egypt and efforts to facilitate their safe repatriation. Vice Presidentβs Press Secretary Agany Ayiei says both sides have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and advancing the shared interests of Juba and Cairo.
