VP. DR. IGGA CONVENES WITH UN SPECIAL ANITA TO ADDRESS OBSTACLES IN PEACE EFFORTS

In Juba, where the Vice President for the Economic Cluster, Dr James Wani Igga and the Representative of the UN Secretary General Anita Kiki have convened discussions on fostering cooperation between the government and the UN to strengthen peace, stability and humanitarian aid efforts as the country prepares to hold elections in December this year. Anita briefed Dr. Igga on the mandate of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan in advancing protection of the civilians in the country.
