A training on political mobilization has commenced in Terekeka County, Central Equatoria State, as part of preparations for the upcoming 2026 general elections. The event, organized by the County SPLM Secretariat under the theme stand for Peace and a prosperous South Sudan aimed to equip party members with practical skills in grassroots mobilization ahead of the national pools. Speaking to SSBC, Central Equatoria SPLM Deputy Chairperson, Najwa Juma Murshal said the training is designed to raise political awareness at the grassroots level. The State SPLM Secretary General, Anna Kaku added the training focused on state level priorities, ensuring that local needs and realities shape the party mobilization strategy. Terekeka County Commissioner and SPLM Chairperson, Emmanuel Loku described the event as an important step toward readying party members for the electoral process.
