The Tore Community of Yei River County led by Mr. Ali Hassan Juma, the Chairperson of the Community paid a courtesy visit to Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony, highlighting major concerns affecting the people in Tore. Among issues presented by the community includes roaming of Ambororo cattle which disrupts farming, dire conditions of health and education facilities in the area and called for the Governor to intervene immediately. Governor Adil reiterated his commitment in addressing the concerns presented by the Community through relevant institutions and urged the Tore community to work collectively with the State Government in fostering peace, unity, and social cohesion. As part of recognition to the State Leadership, the Tore Community officially invited Governor Adil to grace a Thanksgiving Prayer for the Sons and Daughters of Tore Community appointed in various positions within the State Government which will be held on 13th of June, 2026. The Meeting renewed shared responsibility between the government and the community towards peace sustainability, and development with local leaders of Tore congratulating Governor Adil for his re-appointment to lead Central Equatoria State towards security stabilization.
