GOV’T OPERATIONALIZES NEWLY BUILT SCHOOLS IN AWEIL TO ENHANCE EDUCATION

The General Education Authorities have officially operationalized newly built primary schools in Aweil, Northern Bahr El Ghazal State, in a significant move to enhance the quality of education for local communities.

As the General education undersecretary, Omot Okonyi Olok, led the ceremony, this initiative is part of a broader national effort to improve access to education at the grassroots level, ensuring that all regions, particularly those in remote and underserved areas, benefit from quality educational opportunities. The newly operational schools are expected to play a pivotal role in reducing educational disparities, empowering local children with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

The construction and operationalization of these schools are aligned with the government's commitment to expanding education infrastructure across Northern Bahr El Ghazal and other regions in South Sudan. By providing accessible and well-equipped educational facilities, the government aims to foster a generation of skilled individuals who can contribute to the social and economic development of the country.

Ministerial representatives emphasized that this step is a crucial part of the national program to ensure that every child, regardless of their location, has access to quality education. This initiative will also promote community participation in the educational process, creating sustainable and locally-driven solutions for enhancing education standards in the state.

With this development, the government continues to demonstrate its dedication to strengthening the educational framework and achieving its long-term goals of national progress through widespread access to education.
