Ces Caretaker Governor Calls For National Unity Ahead Of Polls

Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, Caretaker Governor of Central Equatoria State, begins his role with touring State government ministries to assess working conditions, engage civil servants and familiarise himself with the challenges affecting their operations. Governor Jadalla emphasised teamwork, mutual respect and commitment to public service. He explained that the engagements were intended to provide a first-hand understanding of institutional needs and identify ways of working together to address them.  Governor Jadalla acknowledged that several of these concerns were shared across government institutions. He said he would hold further engagements with officials and staff to examine their needs in greater detail. The Governor highlighted the importance of education in developing future leaders and professionals, the role of public service institutions in managing personnel records, and the contribution of local government to community engagement. He also encouraged cooperation with national institutions, unity in addressing land-related challenges, and greater attention to youth development, orphanages, and centres supporting persons with disabilities.
