The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Africano Mande, has engaged in extensive discussions with Sudanese Ambassador to South Sudan, Essam El-Din Mohamed Hassan Karar, on strengthening relations between the two countries. The two officials also centered their talks on promoting investment and cross-border trade for regional economic integration. Speaking to the media, Diplomat Karar says the engagement seeks to advance economic integration and create more opportunities for trade cooperation. Presidential Press Secretary Arek Ajou Deng, says both sides emphasise the importance of maintaining peace and stability along the shared border and sustaining strong ties between Juba and Khartoum.
