The Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, has hosted a high-level delegation from Zambia led by Special Envoy Evans C. Chibiliti. The delegation is touring member states to seek support for Zambia's candidate, Engineer Krzias Kazuba Mwale, who is contesting for the position of Secretary-General of the African Telecommunications Union ahead of elections scheduled for July in Abuja, Nigeria. Addressing the meeting, Special Envoy Evans Chibiliti outlined Zambia's vision for the African Telecommunications Union, emphasizing digital transformation, improved connectivity, and stronger continental cooperation in ICT governance. The Undersecretary in the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, Engineer Thomas Gatkuoth Nyak, says South Sudan remains committed to strengthening strategic partnerships that advance digital transformation across the continent.
