<p >The Service Cluster chaired by the<b> </b>Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, has drawn efforts aimed at accelerating the payment of the outstanding arrears for public universities to boost learning and student feeding programmes. The meeting attended by the Minister of Finance and Planning, Salvatore Garang Mabiordit, has addressed urgent sectoral priorities requiring immediate government funding. In a media statement, the Cluster spokesperson, doubling as Deputy minister of Public Service, Julius Tabuley Daniel said, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, emphasized that settling these obligations is essential ahead of the planned release and placement of new university admissions scheduled for 7 May 2026.
