Speaking during a meeting with the SPLM Parliamentary Caucus, Dr. Igga urged party members to strengthen cooperation and remain committed to democratic principles and strategies to enable the party to compete effectively in the elections scheduled for December 22, 2026, saying the party seeks a renewed mandate through a democratic process. Echoing these sentiments, the Speaker of the Transitional National Legislature, Joseph Ngere Paciko, reaffirmed the Parliamentary Caucus’ commitment to working closely with the SPLM leadership to ensure the party is well prepared for the upcoming elections. <o:p></o:p></p>
