<p >Vice-President for the Service Cluster, Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, during the third edition of the 3-day Pojulu Cultural Festival on behalf of President Kiir, has called for unity and cultural preservation. The Cultural event has brought together government officials, diplomats, community leaders, women's groups, youth groups, and members of the public in a celebration of heritage, unity and national identity. <o:p></o:p></p><p >Vice President Hussein described culture as the foundation of national identity, noting South Sudan’s diversity should serve as a source of strength, peace and national pride rather than division. He praised the people of Pojulu for preserving values of peaceful coexistence, resilience, hospitality and communal harmony. The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Joseph Ngere Paciko, commended the 64 tribes of South Sudan for coming together in unity to celebrate the Pojulu Cultural Festival.<o:p></o:p></p><p > </p><p> Dr. Martin Elia Lomuro, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairperson of the Pojulu Community, highlighted the important role culture plays in fostering peace. He noted that cultural values and traditions are pillars that can help sustain unity and reconciliation across communities.</p>
