Central Equatoria State Caretaker Governor, General Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, has called on young people to reject divisive politics and promote peace, unity and political neutrality ahead of the forthcoming general elections. Governor Jadalla made the call on Wednesday during a meeting with leaders of the Central Equatoria State Youth Union, led by its Chairperson, Aggrey Duku Arkangelo, urging the youth to support leadership committed to peace, unity and development, while encouraging them to engage in vocational training, capacity building and agriculture to create employment opportunities. The CESYU leadership also briefed Governor Jadalla on its upcoming Peace Tournament, scheduled for October 24, which aims to promote peace and unity through sports. The youth leaders raised challenges including limited funding, inadequate office space, lack of transport and rising youth unemployment.
