The Caretaker Minister of Interior, Rizik Zakaria Hassan has engaged in talks with the Caretaker Governor of Upper Nile State, James Koang Chuol, on fostering election security preparations in the state. The meeting also addresses internal challenges affecting the organized forces amid the ongoing police training in the state as an important step ahead of the upcoming general elections. Governor Chuol says Upper Nile State is ready for the elections. Additionally, Minister Rizik receives senior SPLM member Daniel Awet Akot, who congratulated him and his Deputy on their appointments.
