President Salva Kiir is expected to commission the new Terminal 3 at Juba International Airport tomorrow Thursday, marking a major milestone in the country’s aviation infrastructural expansion. Ahead of the launch, the Minister of Transport, Rizik Zakariah Hassan, and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Ayiei Garang Deng, have briefed the President on the final preparations for the official opening of the facility, saying the new facility demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving air transport services and modernising airport infrastructure. Officials say Terminal 3 would accommodate both international arrivals and departures, a development expected to enhance passenger experience and increase Juba International Airport’s capacity to serve regional and international travellers.
