A government delegation led by Presidential Adviser on National Security Affairs, Tut Gatluak Manime has departed for Doha, Qatar, to deliver a message of condolence from President Salva Kiir following the passing of Qatar’s former Emir and Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. South Sudan and Qatar maintain cordial bilateral relations and continue to cooperate on matters of mutual interest at both the regional and international levels. Through the condolence message, President Kiir expressed the solidarity of the people of South Sudan with the people of the State of Qatar during this period of mourning.
