The Ministry of Finance and Planning has renewed commitment to improve the welfare of the country’s citizens. Deputy Minister Thok Turuk Thok made the assurance at the conclusion of Budget Preparation workshop organized by the Ministry’s Directorate of Budget. While commending the facilitators, Turuk says the financial institution is committed to improving economy despite persistent challenges, urging participants to be realistic when preparing their institutions’ budget for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027. The Ministry’s Director General for Budget, Bol Yor Guandong emphasized the importance of cooperation within institutions in executing government programs accordingly for the benefit of the people of South Sudan.
