The government of Western Bahr el Ghazal State, has received a consignment of medical and health equipment for the Ministry of Health to support Wau Teaching Hospital, as well as clothing and specialized medicines for the state police. In a media statement, Joseph Moses Ogodo, the state’s caretaker Minister of Health, has commended the health-related support and affirmed the Ministry's commitment to enhancing the delivery of health services across the state.
Caretaker Governor Sharif Daniel also received congratulatory messages from the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wau, Matthew Remijo Adam, and Sheikh Ismail Turki Amer, Secretary of the State Islamic Council, regarding his appointment by the President of the Republic as Acting Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State. Bishop Matthew Remijo emphasized that the current period requires support for the peace process and stability within the state.
