The Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, Ateny Wek Ateny, on Monday held talks with the Egyptian Consul to South Sudan, Ahmed Salah Sabra, reaffirming the two nations’ commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation in key strategic sectors. The meeting centered on exploring avenues for enhanced partnership in information technology, digital transformation and postal services. During the meeting, ICT Minister floated a request for media training opportunities for South Sudanese journalists and media professionals, particularly ahead of the December, 2026 elections.
