Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony urged police recruits to uphold core values of Police ethical behavior, embrace rigorous trainings and unwavering commitment to instructions and guidelines given them as they undergo training.Governor Adil made the remarks during inspection of 2,500 recruits at Central Equatoria State Police Headquarters that are to be dispatched for Police Training. The Governor Commended the Assistant Inspector General and the Police Commissioner of Central Equatoria State, Lt. Gen. Andrea Martin Hassan for recruiting new police trainees.The recruitment comes as part of strengthening security, restoring law and order, and countering criminal activities including menace of gang groups across the State.Officials at the Event urged the recruits to refrain from affiliating themselves with tribal lines, noting that as they undergo trainings, they should maintain unity and patriotism. Governor Adil was accompanied by members of Central Equatoria State Security Committee, signaling the Committee's commitment to strengthening security, boost morale of recruits and reinforce Police deployment within the State in order to ensure peaceful environment for the December, 2026 elections.
