<p >Jonglei & Pibor authorities have agree to finalize arrangements for the deployment of joint security forces to safeguard cross-boundary movements of people, livestock and services between Jonglei State and the Pibor Administrative Area, following the visit of the Governor of Jonglei State, Dr. Riek Gai Kok, to the Pibor Administrative Area.<o:p></o:p></p><p > </p><p >During the visit, the two sides discussed the establishment of cattle trade arrangements in Manyabol or Anyidi to promote peaceful and regulated cross-border livestock movement. According to Pibor Chief Administrator, he has handed over 11 abducted women and children and called on the Jonglei State government to facilitate the return of those abducted from the Pibor. The Chief Administrator also presented a list of abducted women and children from the area. Governor Riek Gai Kok pledged to trace them and ensure they are reunited with their biological parents.<o:p></o:p></p>
