The two parties focused on coordinated measures to enhance cash circulation, address liquidity constraints, and restore confidence in the banking system.<o:p></o:p></p><p >In a joint statement, Majok Nikodemo Arou, Director of Communication and Public Relations at BoSS stated that the measures are intended to ease prevailing cash shortages and ensure banks are adequately supplied to meet public demand.<o:p></o:p></p><p ><b> </b></p><p >During the engagement, Governor Ohisa delivered a message from the President, stressing the need to guarantee uninterrupted cash withdrawals, particularly for low-value account holders.<o:p></o:p></p><p >The move forms part of broader efforts by the central bank, in collaboration with commercial banks, to stabilize the financial sector and restore normal cash flow.<o:p></o:p></p><p >Meanwhile, Chairperson of the South Sudan Bankers Association, Bruna Siricio Iro, welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the association’s commitment to working closely with the Central Bank to improve cash availability. <o:p></o:p></p><p ><b> </b></p><p> </p><p >In attendance were the Deputy Governor for Administration and Finance, Weituy Luony Babuoth, and other senior officials from the Bank of South Sudan.</p><p ><o:p><br></o:p></p><p ><br></p>
