LABOUR MINISTER AND IOM SIGN MOU ON PARTNERSHIP

The Ministry of Labour and Industrial Relations and the International  Organization for Migration have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at creating job opportunities for South Sudan young people, in a move expected to ease growing unemployment pressure. Minister Anthony Lino Makana and the IOM Country representative formalized the partnership during a signing ceremony in Juba on Wednesday with the agreement focusing on Labour market alignment and skills development to promote a sustainable employment. Speaking to SSBC, Minister Makana praised the IOM for its continued to support the government in bolstering vocational training centers across the country.  The IOM representative affirmed the organization commitment to collaborating with the government to prioritize demand driven skills for training and Labour market.
