Setting Transformative Priorities To Building A Prosperous South Sudan

The National Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare Nuna Rhoda Ndefu has set transformative priorities to building a more inclusive peaceful, and prosperous South Sudan. The transformative priorities include economic empowerment & infrastructure, child protection, social protection systems and combating Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Minister Nuna Rhoda Ndefu calls on legal frameworks operationalization including pushing forward the Anti-GBV Bill, Family Bill, women enterprising Bill and persons with disabilities Bill to strengthening protection, women peace and security besides safe houses, and driving behavior-change campaigns to promote gender equality.  

In other News, Minister Nuna holds talks with  community members of Mvolo Country on concerns facing children, the elderly and women reproductive health. The representative of Mvolo community, Remon Ruben Moni applauds president Salva Kiir for entrusting their daughter gender role, raising gaps in medical and educational sectors.
