South Sudan has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Somalia during celebrations marking the 66th Independence Day of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Juba. Representing the Office of the President, Senior Presidential Envoy on Special Programs, Adut Kiir, congratulated the people of Somalia on their National Day and praised their resilience, unity, and progress.
She highlighted the longstanding friendship between the two countries, commended the contribution of Somali entrepreneurs to South Sudan’s economy, and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting an enabling business environment.
