Vice President for the Youth and Gender Cluster, Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior, has praised the African Union for its continued role in supporting South Sudan’s peace process.
Speaking during a meeting with the visiting AU Peace and Security Council delegation in Juba, Nyandeng highlighted the importance of the AU’s consistent engagement in post-conflict recovery efforts, noting that such support has been instrumental in consolidating peace and stability across the country.
Ambassador Hirut Zemene Kassa has stated that the delegation’s visit aims to evaluate progress in implementing the peace agreement and identify areas that require further attention.
