Pibor Chief Begins SPLM Grassroots Mobilisation Ahead Of Elections

The Pibor Chief Administrator, Gola Boyoi Gola has begun mobilising grassroots supporters ahead of the December 2026 general elections. The Chief Administrator says the mobilisation follows a directive from SPLM Chairman, President Salva Kiir Mayardit, calling on party leaders to strengthen grassroots structures and prepare for the polls.

Speaking upon his return to Pibor amid a multitude of supporters, Gola thanks residents for what he described as a historic reception marking his first anniversary in office, saying the turnout reflected the people’s readiness for the upcoming elections. He also announced that the SPLM will soon launch a membership registration exercise across the Pibor Administrative Area.
