U.S. Entitles S. Sudan Among Countries Eligible For Rapid Financial Health Support

The Presidential Advisor on National Security Affairs, Tut Gatluak, engages in extensive discussions with the U.S. Ambassador to South Sudan, Michael J. Adler, on bilateral relations, peace and security, preparations for the upcoming Interparty Political Dialogue, and the planned general elections in December 2026. Ambassador Adler revealed that the United States has designated South Sudan among countries eligible for rapid financial health response support in the event of any Ebola outbreak. He also called for an inclusive political dialogue process involving political parties, opposition groups and holdout movements ahead of the elections.
