the National Elections Commission has presented voter registration materials to President Salva Kiir, marking an absolute readiness to hold elections as planned. Separately, the President has engaged in talks with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for South Sudan, Anita Kiki Gbeho, on the peace process, security, humanitarian concerns and the country’s political transition.
