๐๐๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ โ His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit is in Addis Ababa for a State working visit, undertaken at the invitation of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Republic of South Sudan and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.Upon arrival, H.E. President Kiir was received by H.E. Dr Abiy Ahmed, after which the two leaders held a comprehensive bilateral meeting. During the meeting, the main areas of focus included economic and political reforms; infrastructure development; the oil industry; transportation; and peace and security, among other issues of mutual interest.President Kiir briefed the Prime Minister on the current political, security, humanitarian, and economic situation in South Sudan, outlining ongoing efforts to advance stability and national development.The two leaders exchanged views on all aspects of bilateral engagement, reaffirming the strong and enduring ties between their countries. They further agreed to fast-track the implementation of existing agreements and deepen cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to enhancing economic integration and strengthening people-to-people ties between Juba and Addis Ababa.
