In Gogrial East county, Warrap State, where governor Ambassador Bol Wek Agoth has called on communities to live  in peace and harmony in order to advance farming as the rainy season continues. He is in the county

 

 

 to address a wave of insecurity by engaging with  Matiel’s  Buoyar community to address the killing of two young men, reportedly from Jur River, by unidentified gunmen. He strongly condemned the murders and called on the community to return 84 cattle believed to have been raided in connection with the incident. Echoing these sentiments, Gogrial East County Commissioner Manut Aweer called on locals to return cattle recently raided from the area, recognising the peaceful coexistence between Gogrial East and Marial Wau for generations that shouldn’t be undermined.
