CID Rescues 50 Children from Suspected Human Trafficking in Aweil North

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Wednesday rescued fifty (50) children suspected of being trafficked from Aweil North County in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State without legal documentation from the state authorities indicating their destination.


According to the police spokesperson, Major General Daniel Justin, police have launched investigations to identify the individuals behind the suspected trafficking case.


He added that anyone found guilty or connected to the act will face the full force of the law.
