SPLM, RED ARMY PLEDGE UNITED FRONT FOR DECEMBER 2026 POLLS

SPLM Secretary-General Dr. Akol Paul Kordit, engaged in strategic talks with the leadership of the Red Army, the party’s influential youth wing, on addressing pressing challenges and to consolidate support for the long-awaited general elections scheduled for December 2026. Red Army Secretary-General Daniel Alier Mapiou declared that the youth movement and the ruling party would stand shoulder-to-shoulder as the country prepares for its first post-transitional elections. Dr. Akol urged the Red Army foundations and its league to immediately embark on a thorough internal review.
