FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS UN OFFICIAL OVER PEACE AND HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr James Pitia Morgan, and the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator,  have discussed matters of mutual interest and agreed to work closely for the common good of the citizens, particularly those in need of humanitarian assistance.

Dr. Morgan reiterated the Government’s commitment to ensuring that there are no policies hindering humanitarian actors from accessing vulnerable populations across the country. Ambassador Agok Anyar , the spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation, introduced the newly appointed deputy special representative for the United Nations.
