Chinese Harbor Engineering company has briefed the Minister of Transport Rizik Zakaria Hassan on the implementation of the ongoing River, air and road transport projects. The meeting also discussed projects including the development and upgrading of Juba International Airport, the installation of radars, and the establishment of a unified air traffic management center, which has been completed.

Other projects under consideration include the construction of the Nimule land port, the upgrading of Wau Airport, the construction of eight high-specification ports along the Nile from Bor to Renk, and, most recently, the construction of Tali International Airport.

Transport Minister Rizik Zakaria Hassan pledged to address all financing problems, noting that most of the projects implemented by the ministry in cooperation with the company are service projects and profitable.
